core idea

Samsung City

Cities are representative for the technological development and for sure are the places that move our societies forward. The idea of creating a canvas inspired by the cityscape where the interplay between products and people can take place was a natural idea and developed into an entire experience that had at its core the principles of an urban setup.

Products create digital ecosystems that give birth to patterns and new ways of living, making the urban life more vividm and dynamic, so they serve as a reminder of the daily experience we share.

key moves

The Skyline

A bold facade welcomes the visitors and creates a gate into the booth. The content focuses to highlight the future of IOT and the benefits brought by an integrated ecosystem.

The Districts

Since all departments have a share of the exhibition the interior was designed to give each of them a block/zone, dividing the entire booth into districts where each GMO can show their latest designs.

Digital Landscape

Just like Smart Things. the app launched at the event , the white horizontal lines are meant to connect all the districts and bring them under the same umbrella as ONE Samsung played a key role in the development of the brand image along the years.

my role

As Senior Architect, I worked on developing de design narrative for the overall design and developed certain areas of the exhibition once the main design direction was defined.
